The Canadian band headlined the Acura Stage at the event on Friday, with other stage headliners including Willie Nelson and Lupe Fiasco.
The 'Ready to Start' eight-piece told the crowd: "This is a song of one of our all time favourite artists Cyndi Lauper," before they were joined on stage by Lauper for a rendition of her 1983 hit 'Girls Just Want to Have Fun'.
Lauper shared vocal duties with Arcade Fire's Regine Chassagne before the two acts moved on to perform the band's 'Sprawl II (Mountains Beyond Mountains)', which is taken from their 2010 number one album The Suburbs.
The group recently revealed that they are to reissue The Suburbs later in the year with two new tracks and a bonus DVD.
