Recent reports have suggested that the girl group will celebrate their tenth anniversary by performing at the opening ceremony of the London games next summer. It was further claimed that their manager Hilary Shaw had secured Girls Aloud a slot at a festival to celebrate the Olympics.
"There was a story about Girls Aloud marking our ten-year anniversary with a reunion gig at the Olympic Games," Walsh wrote in her OK column. "That's news to me!
"It would be an honour to open the Olympics but we haven't discussed that. The five of us definitely have plans to do something to mark the anniversary, though, but I'm not sure the Olympics is the place for that."
She added: "I think, for the fans, we'd like to perhaps do something on our own instead of as a bill of different acts."
Walsh's bandmate Nicola Roberts recently confirmed that she will release her debut single next month, while Cheryl Cole began work as a judge on The X Factor USA earlier this week.
