The acts will play Hylands Park, Chelmsford on August 20 and Weston Park, Staffordshire on August 21.
Chiddy Bang and Labrinth have also been added to the sold-out festival's lineup.
The Arctic Monkeys and Eminem were previously confirmed as the event's headliners, with Rihanna, Primal Scream, Jessie J and Bruno Mars among a long list of supporting acts.
Earlier reports indicated that Dolly Parton would have a slot at the shows after her official MySpace page accidentally listed that she was going to be appearing at the event, but V Festival has now clarified that the country star will not be performing.
