The singer, who recently announced plans for a mammoth European tour, said that he hopes to work with up-and-coming gay artists on the record, which is due out next year.
At a press conference at the Royal Opera House, he said: "I'm looking to work with gay or gay friendly artists... I have a few provisional titles, but basically it will be a gay collective. Some of the records will be sung by myself and some by other young, gay artists.
"There's some amazing material that I've already got my hands on and in collaboration with a lot of dance producers I think it could be a stunning record."
He added: "To a degree, pop music traditionally starts to exclude you at a certain age which is natural. But in reality, gay men's relationship with dance music doesn't end at the same time as straight people's does."
The 'Freeek!' star recently admitted that he feels he has let down gay people by repeatedly being arrested.
