The St. Albans trio released their second studio album Pala on Monday and have previously spoken about some of the material's more "poppy" inspiration, which included comparisons to *NSYNC and Backstreet Boys.
Speaking to Digital Spy ahead of their set at Radio 1's Big Weekend, band members Jack Savidge and Edd Gibson admitted that they were feeling good about the new album's release, describing the buildup as "really exciting".
The group also explained that only certain tracks on the record evoke a '90s boyband sound, joking that "hardcore *NSYNC" fans would be disappointed if they thought they were going to get a purely pop-inspired experience.
