Foo Fighters to play MTV Movie Awards

Fresh from headlining Radio 1's Big Weekend, the band will perform new single "Walk", taken from their recently released seventh studio album Wasting Light.
The Foo Fighters join the previously announced Lupe Fiasco and Trey Songz, who will perform their new collaboration 'Out of My Head', as well as a solo performance from Fiasco of 'The Show Goes On'.
Award presenters already confirmed for the event include Green Lantern stars Ryan Reynolds and Blade Lively, Transformers star Shia LaBeouf, The Social Network lead Jesse Eisenberg, and Gossip Girl star Leighton Meester.
The films due to compete in this year's 'Best Movie' category are The Twilight Saga: Eclipse, Inception, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1, Black Swan and The Social Network.
The 2011 MTV Movie Awards will air on June 5 at 9pm ET on MTV.
