The 'Dammit' band have announced that they will embark on a US-wide tour, despite previously rescheduling a string of European dates for this summer due to being behind on the recording of their new album.
Speaking about the upcoming US tour, Blink guitarist Tom DeLonge told Spin: "We have a really great mix of our talents, and what I'm really excited about is how these songs are built for such massive venues.
"I don't want to spit out song titles, but the new stuff builds a lot more. The songs have intros, crescendos, and things that lend themselves to great lighting and loud volume. It's not orthodox punk at all."
DeLonge continued to explain that the band's sound has evolved following each of the group members' recent solo experiences.
"We have different skill-sets. Travis is the only guy that can play crazy hip-hop beats but he can also play faster than Slayer. And Mark is the indie rock king."
