East Troy, Wisconsin's Alpine Valley Music Theatre will host two gigs on September 3-4 featuring performances not only from Pearl Jam but also The Strokes, Queens of the Stone Age and John Doe of the influential punk band X.
Pioneering alternative rock group Mudhoney, Liam Finn and Joseph Arthur have also signed to take the stage for the two gigs, according to Billboard.
Members of Pearl Jam's fanclub can buy tickets for the event now. Seating for the general public will go on sale June 4, with $2 from each purchase benefiting Pearl Jam's charity the Vitalogy Foundation.
As part of the band's anniversary celebration, PBS is to air a Cameron Crowe-directed documentary called Pearl Jam Twenty on October 21. A companion soundtrack album and book will also be released.
Since forming in Seattle in the 1990s, Pearl Jam have amassed seven US platinum-selling albums and nearly two dozen mainstream rock hits.
In March, bassist Jeff Ament revealed that Pearl Jam plan to record their tenth studio album this year.
