East 17 have announced plans for a comeback in 2011, but without former member Brian Harvey.

Original members Tony Mortimer, Terry Coldwell and John Hendy will return, along with new recruit Blair Dreelan, aka Sparx.

The 1990s boyband attempted a full reunion in 2006, but split soon after following arguments within the group.

They will release a new single titled 'Secret of My Life' in July, followed by a short tour starting in Glasgow on July 15.

They reunited for a one-off show in November 2009, with Mortimer also concentrating on solo work.

Speaking to Digital Spy in 2009 about their failed comeback, Mortimer said: "I think it was a case of us going in different directions. The chaps wanted to go in one direction and do their own thing, so it was never really going to work from the outset.

"There was talk of doing a new album but we would never have agreed on it. To be honest I wanted to play our classics and the other guys wanted to play the new stuff which they're doing now."
