Kellan Lutz rejects Britney Spears video offer?

According to E! Online, the two met during a recent fundraiser for Hurricane Katrina, following which the singer asked Lutz to appear in the video for her new single I Wanna Go.
However, the Twilight star is said to have politely declined the offer to play Spears's romantic interest. No reason has been given.
Spears wanted the former 90210 star to take on the role of a man who rescues her from some over-zealous paparazzi photographers.
Lutz is best known for his role as Emmett Cullen in the Twilight series, but will also star opposite Henry Cavill and Stephen Dorff in the fantasy epic The Immortals later this year.
Spears made a surprise appearance at last weekend's 2011 Billboard Music Awards, performing duets with both Rihanna and Nicki Minaj.
The singer began filming the video for 'I Wanna Go' today in Los Angeles, although it has not yet been announced who took Lutz's place.
