JLS have claimed that they want a career as long as Take That's.

The foursome, who have scored six top 10 UK hits since rising to fame on The X Factor in 2008, told The Sun that they are "in it for the long haul".

"We believe we can go the whole way. We want to be doing this for ever, like Take That," Marvin Humes told the paper. "Things are happening to us which we never thought possible.

"We never take it for granted because we all know as quickly as it has come, it can go. But we're all in it for the long haul."

Bandmate JB Gill continued: "Every day you think, 'This could be it', but we're at a point where we do think we're here to stay. Though none of us would ever get too complacent. You just can't.

"It's like any job, the longer you do it the more you learn. We know more about tax, royalties, how the money comes in and how it goes out. We all have business heads. We've invested in properties. You've got to secure yourself for the future."

JLS premiered their new single 'She Makes Me Wanna' on UK radio yesterday.

It will be released on July 24.
