The former Happy Mondays star told The Sun that he is convinced the 'Fools Gold' band will get back together at some point in the near future.
"I think it'll happen, I really do. There is more of a chance now than ever of them getting back together. Ian's just split with his missus and I bet she's hit him for a few quid," he said.
"The only reason they will get back together is if Ian needs the cash. He never has before, he's a millionaire."
Stone Roses bassist Mani recently said that he was "disgusted" by the reunion rumours.
