The 'Rio' singer had been hoping to recover, but doctors have now recommended that he rest his voice for another week.
Duran Duran have had to call off their shows in Bournemouth, Cardiff, Manchester and Sheffield, but urged fans to hold on to their tickets as they try to rearrange the concerts for a later date.
Le Bon said on the band's website: "I know how difficult this has been for all of the fans, as we've been postponing shows with very little notice, in the hope each day that the improvement would have been significant enough for me to sing again without risking any long-term damage.
"I am now focusing on getting back for Berlin - which is on June 8th."
Hollywood director David Lynch directed one of Duran Duran's shows in Los Angeles back in March, which included guest appearances from Mark Ronson and Kelis.
