The 15-year-old singer gained her first top 20 hit with her debut single 'Skinny Love' back in April, with the Bon Iver cover reaching number 17 on the UK singles chart.
The star has now revealed that her next track 'Shelter' will be released on July 6, ahead of her debut album, which is expected to be available this autumn.
Birdy has worked with a variety of musicians for the record including Arctic Monkeys producer James Ford and Jim Abbiss, who collaborated with Adele on her debut album 19.
'Shelter's music video, which will be directed by Sophie Muller who also worked on the 'Skinny Love' promo, will be released soon.
