LL Cool J and Natasha Bedingfield have joined the lineup for the Black Eyed Peas' upcoming free New York City concert.

Blondie's Debbie Harry, 'So Far Away' singer Carole King and rapper MC Hammer will also take the stage on June 9 at Central Park's Great Lawn.

The gig is being held to raise awareness for the Robin Hood Foundation, a charity which aims to help improve the lives of the impoverished in New York.

The View co-host Whoopi Goldberg, Zach Braff and Jimmy Smits will appear to address the crowd over the course of the evening, the New York Post's Page Six reports.

More than 54,000 tickets have been given away at no cost, but VIP tickets can still be purchased from the Robin Hood Foundation's website.

Fergie recently revealed that the Black Eyed Peas will be taking "a break" later this year in order to spend time on other personal and professional endeavors.
