The singer told Sky Magazine that her own music projects and wedding were more pressing than reuniting with her bandmates.
Harding said: "I'm more than a one-trick pony. We haven't split up, we've just taken a break for a few years.
"It's our ten-year anniversary next year - so who knows, maybe we'll do something special for that. At the moment, though, I'm working on my solo music and planning our wedding."
Harding got engaged to DJ Tom Crane on New Year's Eve and recently said that he accepts her "warts and all".
She has recorded a track with Roger Sanchez and Danny Jones of McFly, which may be included on a solo album.
Of her other plans, Harding added: "I would love to go to Hollywood to do a film, but I don't know if I could go and live there."
Louis Walsh has claimed that all members of Girls Aloud, including Cheryl Cole, will reunite for a live tour next year.
