Adele fends off Pitbull on US Billboard chart

Adele has fended off competition from Pitbull to remain at number one on the Billboard Hot 100.

The singer clocks up a fourth week atop the tally, while Pitbull climbs from three to two and Katy Perry's 'E.T' completes the top three.

Elsewhere in the top ten, Lady GaGa advances from 19 to eight with 'The Edge of Glory', and DJ Khaled vaults from 78 to ten with 'I'm On One', which features Drake, Rick Ross and Lil Wayne.

Outside the top ten, American Idol winner Scotty McCreery lands at 11 with 'I Love You This Big', while runner-up Lauren Alaina debuts at 20 with 'Like My Mother Does'.

Glee's 'Light Up The World' enters at 33, Lady GaGa's 'You And I' lands at 36, and Beyonce's '1+1' debuts at 57.

Rihanna's 'California King Bed' advances from 80 to 66, while 'Man Down' enters the tally at 94.
