Plan B headlines opening Ibiza Rocks show

Plan B has headlined the first Ibiza Rocks show of the year.

The 'She Said' star performed at the Ibiza Rocks Hotel on Wednesday night to crowds of excited fans on the White Island.

After touring the US over the past few months, the singer - real name Ben Drew - explained that he is glad to be back in Europe.

"I didn't get that homesick when I was in America but I'm really happy to be home anyway," he told the Daily Star.

"I'm an Ibiza Rocks virgin so to kick-start the festival season here is a great homecoming party.

"I'm popping my Ibiza cherry and want to party hard. Lots of people have Ibiza memories but this is my first time, so it's all about making some."

Plan B was also supported by fellow rapper Wretch 32 at the gig and admitted that he is happy for the 'Unorthodox' star's recent success.

"I have real respect for Wretch because he's been around a long time, probably as long as me, and I'm happy that he's come through from the grime scene.

"It doesn't matter that the scene has died, it's about the talent that's come from it. I'm really proud of the geezer."

Tinie Tempah, Dizzee Rascal, Katy B and Biffy Clyro are also confirmed to play this year's Mallorca and Ibiza Rocks shows.
