The group, who are working on their first record since Josh and Zac Farro quit the group last December, said that they hope to start recording the follow-up to 2009's Brand New Eyes at the end of this year.
"We're about to start writing it," Williams told BBC Radio 1. "We're getting down to the core... of refreshing our band.
"We're hoping to have the record out early next year. We love playing festivals, so hopefully we'll start to record it at the end of 2011."
Asked when the band will next perform in the UK, she replied: "Not soon enough! I'm so ready - we only have 15 shows scheduled this year and that is so not cool. I'm kind of pulling my hair out and freaking out with nothing to do at home!"
She continued: "It's been a crazy, crazy six months. I think the best thing is to see how much support we get. It's hard to call our fans 'fans' - it's so much like a family at this point it's ridiculous. It's crazy, I love it."
Paramore recently unveiled their new track 'Monster', which will feature on the soundtrack to the forthcoming movie Transformers: Dark of the Moon.
