The London-born rapper, who is currently number one in the midweek chart with 'Changed The Way You Kissed Me', said that he reckons he could become the new Faithless through his stage shows at this year's festivals.
"I like that people are saying 'Changed The Way You Kiss Me' has a Faithless vibe 'cause I went on tour with them and learned more supporting them than I've ever done," he told the Daily Star.
"They were always the act at festivals that no-one ever wanted to play after, even if you were Oasis or Kings of Leon.
"And now people don't want to play after me. We've moved up so many bills this year 'cause of that. Well, my act is unbeatable. I've got the best beats, the best band, the lights, the energy, the anthems."
Example also revealed that he has worked with Faithless on the title track for his new album Playing In The Shadows.
"Faithless put on the best live show I've ever seen. Maxi Jazz is a huge inspiration but I don't mean I want to be them because I'm a frontman and they're a dance act; the main thing is I rap and sing," he added.
Example recently told Digital Spy that he thinks the recent collection of dance music originating from the US is "weak".
