The teenager picked up the honour alongside Rascal Flatts at the Nashville country music ceremony on Wednesday night for their promo to the track 'That Should Be Me'.
Bieber wrote on Twitter: "We won 2nite!! Incredible honour. But even more honoured to have won with @rascalflatts. (sic)"
Rascal Flatts added on their own feed: "Thank y'all soo much for voting us Vocal Collaboration of the Year @CMTMusicAwards with @justinbieber. You are the BEST fans in the world!!!"
Bieber and Rascal Flatts filmed the video for 'That Should Be Me', taken from Bieber's Never Say Never: The Remixes, earlier this year. Their time together also made headlines around the world when Bieber decided to trim his famous hair into a shorter cut while on set with the band.
The group poked fun at the reaction to the new hairstyle while accepting the award with Bieber, thanking the teenager for letting them "be part of the haircut that shocked the world", adding: "We have Bieber Fever!"
