The rapper and singer revealed via his official blog that the follow-up to his 2009 debut Thank Me Now will hit US stores on October 24.
The post was also accompanied by the release of another track from the record entitled 'Marvin's Room' which is due for official release in July. The song is the second to be leaked from Take Care, following last month's premiere of 'Dreams Money Can Buy'.
Drake previously claimed that he was using Memorial Day weekend as "research" for the album.
"I got this album coming. It's called Take Care, so I just really want to get out here and check the climate. I wanna hear the records, see how everybody's moving, see what everybody's lovin', because I know I got a great body of work," he told MTV News at the time.
Drake recently dismissed claims that he would consider leaving Lil Wayne's Young Money label, insisting that he wants to stay with the company forever.
