The Sheffield band play London's Roundhouse venue in Camden with support from Rascals star Miles Kane on Wednesday, July 6.
Tickets for the show are free and are available via application to a ballot on the official festival website.
Arctic Monkeys frontman Alex Turner and Kane have collaborated in the past as The Last Shadow Puppets. Arctic Monkeys headline their own UK arena tour later this year.
Turner said: "We are really looking forward to playing the iTunes Festival in London on July 6 at The Roundhouse, its going to be a wonderful night."
The Wanted, who were originally booked to play on July 6, will now play the Roundhouse on July 20. Applications for tickets for The Wanted have now been transferred for Arctic Monkeys tickets. Those wishing to see The Wanted must apply for tickets again.
Manic Street Preachers, Adele and Jessie J are already confirmed for the month-long iTunes Festival.
