The group, who are due to play this weekend's Download festival for the fourth time, said that it feels "really good to be back" and insisted that the event's atmosphere is "like nothing else".
"UK festivals are the best in the world, as far as I have seen...You guys have it down to a science... You guys have no idea how lucky you are," they said.
"The atmosphere at a festival and the vibe in the crowd is like nothing else. You have so many cool festivals!"
Bowling For Soup added: "Download for us have been one of the best festivals ever! It was pretty much dominated by metal when it first started, but now there are so many bands that play including punk and rock. It's frickin' great and we love being a part of it."
The band recently unveiled the music video for their new single 'Turbulence', which is out to download now.
