The 'Run The World (Girls)' singer will top the bill for the festival's closing evening on June 26 and was persuaded to perform after watching Jay-Z play in the same slot back in 2008.
Of a potential Jay-Z cameo during Beyoncé's set, event organiser Michael Eavis told the Belfast Telegraph: "Wouldn't it be nice? When he came before it was an absolutely fantastic success and in a way that's what persuaded Beyoncé to come and do it. She was here before, [and] saw the amazing response from the crowd."
Eavis added that the couple are expected to stay the weekend in Glastonbury so they can spend time with their close friends - and the event's other headliners - Coldplay and U2.
Beyoncé is feeling nervous about her performance as the set will include "dizzying pyrotechnics", previous reports have said.
