The Scottish DJ has entered the listing at number one with his new single 'Bounce', which features guest vocals from Kelis, knocking last week's best-seller 'Changed The Way You Kissed Me' by Example down to second position.
Ed Sheeran is the second highest new entry with 'The A Team' landing at number three, while the top five is rounded out by Pitbull's 'Give Me Everything' and Tinchy Stryder and Dappy's 'Spaceship' at four and five respectively.
Following her performances on So You Think You Can Dance and at Capital FM's Summertime Ball, Jennifer Lopez climbs seven places with 'On the Floor' to number 11, while her follow-up single 'I'm Into You' is a place behind at 12.
Nicki Minaj continues to move up the chart with 'Super Bass' advancing two places to 17, although Coldplay have taken a steep tumble with their new track 'Every Teardrop Is A Waterfall' falling 14 places to number 20.
At the lower end of the chart, The Saturdays' new single 'Notorious' continues to drop, falling to number 36, while Adele's new single 'Set Fire To The Rain' makes a top 40 debut by landing at number 38.
Over on the album chart, record-breaking man-band Take That storm to the top with their newly repackaged LP Progressed. Last week's number one, Arctic Monkeys' Suck It And See slides to number three, while Adele's 21 stays firm at two.
Outside of the top five, Eminem and Royce Da 5' 9" enter the chart with their new EP Hell The Sequel sitting at six, and singer-songwriter Nerina Pallot is just outside the top ten with her new record Year Of The Wolf clocking in at number 13.
