As the first festival-goers arrive at the campsite on Wednesday afternoon, they will be greeted with intermittent showers and gusts of wind up to 21mph, says the MET Office's official website.
Thursday is forecast to be dry but cloudy with gusts picking up and reaching a high of 33mph. Visibility is currently classed as very good.
For the opening day of the music festival, a combination of cloud, rain and sun will be present in the afternoon during performances by Two Door Cinema Club, The Wombats and Chipmunk.
The forecast suggests that the rain and cloud will disperse by the evening in time for U2's headline slot, which will be welcomed by a clear moonlit sky.
Temperatures across the three days will hover at 16°C, while the evening will see them dip to 11°C.
Digital Spy will bringing you Glastonbury weather updates each day this week. U2, Coldplay and Beyoncé are headlining this year's festival.
