Last week, rumours circulated that the 'Fallin' singer would be open to collaborating with Adele. Keys has now revealed that a duet may soon become a reality.
"She is a great lady," Keys told KISS fm recently. "I definitely see that there is a strong possibility we will do something together."
Keys had previously laughed off reports of a duet with Adele by insisting that her producer husband Swizz Beatz was the one who started the rumours out of wishful thinking.
"I think my own husband started that rumour," the singer joked. "He is so excited, we love Adele!"
Keys also teased a long-awaited release of her collaboration with Beyoncé on the track 'Put It In A Love Song', which was recorded back in 2009 but has yet to receive an official release.
"We want to keep it really mysterious for everybody," she teased. "We like it that everyone is wondering what the hell is going on."
Keys will mark the 10th anniversary of her debut album Songs in A Minor later this month with a special re-release including unheard songs, demos and a documentary feature.
The Collector's Edition of Songs in A Minor is due for release on June 28.
