Coldplay premiere new track 'Major Minus'

Coldplay have posted a new track, titled 'Major Minus', online.

The song will feature on their upcoming Every Teardrop is a Waterfall EP, which will be released on Sunday.

The EP will also contain another new track 'Moving to Mars' in a bid to help promote their latest single 'Every Teardrop is a Waterfall', which has so far peaked at number six in the UK and 14 in the US.

The new release will follow the band's headline set at this weekend's Glastonbury festival, where it is expected that the group will preview a collection of new material.

The alternative rock four-piece premiered four new tracks at Germany's Rock Am Ring festival earlier this month, which included a live rendition of 'Major Minus'.

Work on the band's fifth studio album is thought to be in the latter stages, with an expected release date to be scheduled for later this year.
