Eminem commits suicide in 'Space Bound' video

Eminem is shown taking his own life in his new music video for 'Space Bound', which was unveiled over the weekend.

Directed by Joseph Khan, the video was filmed in Los Angeles in February and stars porn star Sasha Grey.

The promo shows two versions of the US rapper, each one demonstrating a different side of his personality. While one is calm and collected, the other is abusive and paranoid.

One of the Eminems checks his girlfriend's mobile to find that she has been cheating on him, then seemingly attacks her when they later return to their motel room, only to realise that she isn't really there.

One of the characters then pulls a gun to his head and shoots himself, having a knock on effect to the other, who is also seen having a bullet go through his skull.

'Space Bound' is the fourth single to be released from Eminem's Recovery album, which topped the UK and US album charts last summer.

The 38-year-old hip-hop star recently defended lyrics that suggested Lady GaGa is a hermaphrodite, saying that it was a "joke" that he wanted to share.
