Although he declined to reveal the acts in question, Eavis said that organisers are already excited about planning the next Glastonbury Festival.
"We can't wait for 2013," Eavis announced, according to NME. "We love it. I've never seen so many people enjoying themselves.
"It was fantastic, even with the [weather] conditions. We can't wait to do it again."
Eavis revealed: "We've already got three headliners lined up for 2013. I know who they all are, but I'm not going to go into details about that."
Eavis also disclosed that he came close to calling off 2008's Glastonbury Festival before the organisers managed to secure Jay-Z as a headliner.
The annual event will take a year off in 2012, as is tradition, to allow the Worthy Farm site to sufficiently recover.
Beyoncé rounded off this year's Glastonbury Festival last night with a crowd-pleasing set that the singer later described as the highlight of her career.
