Acting as the lead single from their currently-untitled fifth studio album, 'Every Teardrop Is A Waterfall' was released earlier this month and has so far reached number 6 in the UK and 14 in the US.
The video has been shot using a stop-motion camera technique and sees the alternative rock four-piece performing the song in an abandoned brick factory covered with fluorescent shapes and splatters.
Coldplay are also seen covered in UV paint and performing outside of the building during the end of the video.
The video has been made available following the release of their new Every Teardrop Is A Waterfall EP, which also includes new track 'Major Minus'.
Coldplay are thought to have nearly completed their new album with speculation suggesting that it will be released over the coming months.
The band wowed audiences with a 19-track headline performance at Glastonbury festival last weekend, resulting in a sales surge of their previous four studio albums.
