Singer Win Butler, who will lead the award-winning Suburbs band on stage at 8.45pm for their 90-minute set, also spoke of the pressures of touring and recording at the same time.
Butler told Q: "What can fans expect? Well, it should be a great show.
"We're just gonna do what Arcade Fire do best - just get out there and play some rock 'n' roll."
The star added: "Every record, there's been some point where we've looked at each other and gone, 'What are we doing? This is so hard'.
"Because it is. It's just hard. Making anything properly is really hard."
Arcade Fire also joked about the meaning behind the set of giant beach balls they released during their headline set at Coachella back in April.
