The Apple Cart Festival in Victoria Park will be staged on August 7, and will be a mixture of live music, comedy, cabaret and interactive art.
Saint Etienne, Steve Mason and Soul II Soul have also been confirmed to play.
Comedians Tim Minchin and Mark Steel will appear too, along with The Sorcerer's Apprentice star Max Somerset.
Tickets for the event can be purchased on the festival's official website.
Patrick Wolf recently announced a nine-date UK tour in October and November.
