The recently-reformed Britpop band play the O2 Brixton Academy on August 31.
Pulp last night headlined the Wireless festival at London's Hyde Park with support from Grace Jones, TV on the Radio and Metronomy.
"Pulp are taking it indoors," a message read on the band's official Twitter page. "A Hot August Night at London Brixton Academy, 31 August 2011. Do it!"
The London date is the band's first non-festival UK show since their comeback, not including an unannounced set at St Martin's College on June 24.
Pulp also played a surprise set on the Park Stage at last month's Glastonbury Festival, following their festival shows at Primavera and Isle of Wight.
Pulp also play the Reading and Leeds festivals on August 27 and 28.
