In the lead-up to the release of her second studio album, Born This Way, GaGa persistently spoke of her hopes that her new material would serve as a "rock crossover".
Since unveiling the LP, fans have been able to hear the subtle rock influences on the 25-year-old's new material, especially on album tracks 'You and I', which features Queen guitarist Brian May, and 'Electric Chapel', which contains prominent electric guitar riffs.
The star has also confessed to being a fan of heavy metal band Iron Maiden, even reportedly offering her services as their roadie during their world tour back in April.
GaGa's previous single 'Judas' is about an ex-boyfriend who was a Judas Priest fan, which is where she got the inspiration for the track.
In that vein, fans on YouTube have created an unofficial heavy metal remix of her hit 'Born This Way', with the uploader explaining: "How Lady Gaga's 'Born This Way' would have sounded if Judas Priest had written it with her."
The instrumental was recorded by Ol Drake of heavy metal band Evile, while GaGa's vocals remain the same.
Lady GaGa has previously released a country version of the song, which was included as an extra track on the special edition of her recent album.
