The album will launch on August 22 then the movie – set in the 1930s – three days later.
'Mighty O', slated as the first single from the record, was leaked last week. It is reportedly based around a famous scatting sample from Cab Calloway's 'Minnie the Moocher'.
The music will be fitting for a movie about running a speakeasy, OutKast said, but still in the band's usual style. "It's hip-hop. It's OutKast," Big Boi said last year. "It is what we've been doing for years. Some songs have a little more piano or whatever, but the whole project was a natural progression from a double CD."
It also features acts including Macy Gray and Patti LaBelle.
