Writing in his New magazine column, Andre described the group as "absolutely brilliant" and defended the 'Angels' singer over his swearing on stage.
"I went to see Take That last week and my God, they were awesome. It was absolutely brilliant," he said.
"I know Robbie Williams has had a bit of stick about swearing during the shows, but it didn't bother me personally.
"When he sang 'Let Me Entertain You', the crowd went wild and he reminded me a bit of Freddie Mercury. He has such presence and he totally smashed it."
Andre released his new single 'Perfect Night', co-written by Taio Cruz and Guy Chambers, last week.
He insisted that he will continue with his music career despite a low chart entry, saying: "I did lots of TV shows last week to promote my single. I don't think it will chart as high as I'd like it to but, as the old saying goes, 'If at first you don't succeed, dust yourself off and try again'.
"It's a real shame that people won't play my songs on the radio, but I'm not bitter about it as I have so many things to be grateful for.
"I've always said my kids are my fiercest critics but Junior absolutely loves 'Perfect Night', so that's good enough for me."
Andre recently revealed that his crush on Cheryl Cole is over after she failed to return his calls.
