The Rakes have revealed plans for a second album which promises to be very different from the first.
Since the release of Capture/Release the band have been continually on tour, but frontman Alan Donohue has revealed that that has not stopped them from writing and even recording new material.
Donohue told Gigwise: "We've got plans for a second album, big time. We do rehearsing while we're all over...whenever we have a few spare days."
He openly expressed his ambition for the next album to differ from other bands, saying: "Have you heard The Streets new album? It's so one-dimensional and we want to move away from that."
