Drake: 'New rapper Kreayshawn has the flows'

Drake has praised up-and-coming rapper Kreayshawn for her energy and rhyming skills.

Kreayshawn - real name Natassia Gail Zolot - signed a recording contract with Columbia Records in June 2011 and has also directed music videos for several other artists, including Lil B and Red Hot Chili Peppers' new single 'The Adventures of Rain Dance Maggie'.

In an interview with AOL's The Boombox, Drake said that he was immediately taken with Kreayshawn upon meeting her randomly in Los Angeles and revealed that the two have been in the studio together to collaborate on several tracks.

"I'm excited about Kreayshawn. Really, honestly, I get excited when new things happen in hip-hop and like, when I heard 'Gucci Gucci', I heard the flows," he said.

"I was excited before I even knew who she was. And you know, I got to hear a little bit more of the music beyond that and then, like to meet her, and then the energy she has... she's a great person."

Drake will release his second studio LP Take Care on October 24.
