The Wanted have revealed that they are hoping to work with US artists on their forthcoming album.

The band, who are gearing up to release their second studio LP later this year, said that they are keen to score two "huge" collaborations for the record.

Nathan Sykes told Digital Spy: "There's a couple being spoken about. I've got to admit, if they come off, they'll be huge.

"Especially for the songs we're looking to get the collabs on themselves. They're not tracks that need a feature, they're just very good songs anyway - without wanting to sound arrogant!"

Asked if they are hoping to feature UK or US acts, he said: "They're from America, which makes it slightly more interesting! It'll be great for us, especially if we head over to the US in the future."

Sykes added: "We're at number 44 on the Billboard dance chart with 'All Time Low'. We're potentially going to head out there but we'll have to gauge the response first.

"Our new album was fully made in the UK, though. We don't want to sound American as people might be put off by that. Americans do American music best!"

The Wanted are currently on course to score a second week at number one on the singles chart with 'Glad You Came'.
