The track, which is due to be released on September 19, will serve as the lead single for the group's untitled eighth studio album.
It also marks the first release from the pop trio since they moved to Sony RCA after departing Island Records earlier this year.
'Freedom' was previously featured in a Nokia mobile phone advertising campaign back in June after the girls debuted the track at a Moroccan festival in May.
Band member Jade Ewen recently told Digital Spy that the trio have yet to sign off their new album as they just want to "keep recording" and "to pick the very best [songs]".
