The rapper revealed that one of the biggest supporters of an Outkast collaboration on Daddy Fat Sax is Epic CEO LA Reid, who is attempting to negotiate an agreement between Big Boi and Andre 3000's separate record labels.
"I think it's very much possible because we have LA Reid in our corner now, and he was the first to sign Outkast," Big Boi told Rolling Stone.
He continued: "LA has permission to make it happen now. So I hope it does, and I don't really see why it won't."
Outkast, who have released six US platinum-selling studio LPs, have been on hiatus since the release of their 2006 film and soundtrack Idlewild.
It was recently reported that the hip-hop duo are planning to release their seventh studio album in 2012, but Big Boi chose not to discuss Outkast's future during the interview.
