The song was posted by the late singer's producer Salaam Remi on his official blog on July 26, two days after the tragic passing of the star on Saturday.
'Round Midnight' is a mid-tempo jazz number which includes the lyrics: "Let our hearts take wing round midnight, midnight/ Let the angels sing for your returning/ Till our love is safe and sound/ When old midnight comes around."
The track was initially released as a B-side to her single 'Take The Box', taken from her critically-acclaimed debut album Frank.
Remi dismissed claims that there are completed songs for Winehouse's third studio album earlier this week.
The producer explained that they were both still working on the record, but nothing was completely finished.
He also insisted that it will be up to Winehouse's estate to decide whether tracks for the album should be mastered for a posthumous release.
