The Pulp frontman voices Cohen's lyrics on 'Avalanche (Terminal Velocity)', the only feature of the original song that remains in the new version.
'Avalanche' first featured on Cohen's third album Songs of Love and Hate in 1971. It was later covered by Nick Cave & the Bad Seeds for their 1984 debut From Her to Eternity.
'Avalanche (Terminal Velocity)' is released on September 12, NME reports.
