Amy Winehouse remains at albums No.1 with 'Back To Black'

Amy Winehouse has managed to retain her posthumous UK album chart number one with Back To Black.

The celebrated 2006 LP notched up a second week in pole position after recording its strongest seven-day sales since the 27-year-old's death in late July.

Winehouse's debut album Frank, first released in 2003, also climbs from three to five to achieve its best ever chart placing. The late star's two records are surrounded by Adele's 21 and 19 at two and four respectively, while Beyoncé rounds out the top five with 4.

Meanwhile, Lady GaGa and Chase & Status shuffle a further two places up the rankings to take Born This Way and No More Idols to six and seven, as Caro Emerald slips three spots to nine with Deleted Scenes From The Cutting Room Floor.

Rihanna's November 2010 release Loud returns to the top-sellers after climbing two places to ten, while Chris Brown's F.A.M.E. and Jessie J's Who You Are rise the same number to settle in behind at 11 and 12.

The biggest advances in the top 20, however, belong to Pitbull's sixth studio album Planet Pit, which re-enters the top 40 at 14, and Nicki Minaj's Pink Friday, up 15 digits to 16 in its 37th week of release.

Further down, former number one Wasting Light by the Foo Fighters drops four to 19, one spot ahead of Sigh No More by Mumford & Sons, which is up five in its 96th week on the chart.

Finally, X Factor 2007 runner-up Rhydian Roberts just scrapes into the Top 40 with his third studio album Waves, a new entry this week at 39.
