The Brighton And Hove Gay Men's Chorus have agreed a lucrative deal with Universal Records, whose rosta includes the likes of GaGa, Nicki Minaj and The Black Eyed Peas.
The group, who are known for performing hits from the likes of Neil Young and Radiohead, insisted that they will continue avoid cliched gay anthems in favour of rock songs.
"We wanted to break down barriers and misconceptions of what gay people are," John Hamilton told Metro.
"Rather than being a gay chorus, we're a chorus of men that happen to be gay."
The choir's debut album is expected to be released in October.
