Ryan Adams announces new album 'Ashes & Fire'

The album was recorded in Los Angeles at Sunset Sound in Hollywood. It was produced by Glyn Johns, who has previously worked with Bob Dylan, The Clash and the Rolling Stones. The producer's son Ethan had worked on Adams's albums Heartbreaker, Gold and 29.
Tom Petty And The Heartbreakers organist Benmont Tench appears on the album, along with Norah Jones, who provides backing vocals on a number of tracks.
Adams performed a number of acoustic shows in the UK in June.
Ashes & Fire will be released on Monday, October 10.
