Michael Eavis said he has booked three headliners for Glastonbury 2007 – including Kylie Minogue.
The festival's manager confirmed he has the top acts for the Pyramid Stage at the Ivor Novello Awards ceremony.
"Kylie is definitely going to be the Sunday night headliner," Eavis told the Daily Mirror. "We want her to do all the stuff she did on her Showgirl tour with the fairies and the trapeze. She is so Glastonbury.
"She is really keen. Her people said they don't even need a contract - a handshake is enough."
Dire Straits and the Kaiser Chiefs are among the bands rumoured to be playing at next year's festival, but Eavis has refused to confirm any other acts.
