Babyshambles: 'focusing on the music'

The shift comes just weeks after the band were dropped from their record label Rough Trade.
Babyshambles are reportedly working hard on a new sound at London's Turnmills Studios.
The band said in a statement, "The music has gone in a different direction than people might expect and reflects the challenging times since Down in Albion; it's both reflective and optimistic."
According to Drowned in Sound Babyshambles have been offered a new record deal from Rough Trade, as well as a number of other labels.
