Babyshambles: 'focusing on the music'
Babyshambles have spent their fee for the Get Loaded festival on studio time in a bid to finally "focus on the music".

The shift comes just weeks after the band were dropped from their record label Rough Trade.

Babyshambles are reportedly working hard on a new sound at London's Turnmills Studios.

The band said in a statement, "The music has gone in a different direction than people might expect and reflects the challenging times since Down in Albion; it's both reflective and optimistic."

According to Drowned in Sound Babyshambles have been offered a new record deal from Rough Trade, as well as a number of other labels.
